+Taylor Deupree + Kenneth Kirschner - remixed by Direwires

Taylor Deupree + Kenneth Kirschner's "post_piano 2" album on 12k was followed up with an open remix project, based entirely on Kirschner's piano sketch "November 11, 2003". Direwires' Reinterpreted version of the piece completed for the project as well as the works of 20 other artists from around the globe have been included on a freely downloadable album. You may download it from the 12k site in MP3 form and read more about the project...

+MGT-003 "There's Life After Winter" Released

"There's Life After Winter" limited edition CD is now available. Packaged in a DVD case with cinema-inspired artwork, and features six original scores plus two bonus tracks (8 tracks total). Bonus tracks include a remix of Direwires' "Oh, her" by Moodgadget artist Benoit Pioulard, as well as a Direwires remix of "Leamington" by Rob Theakston (Thinkbox). +MUTEK 2005 a success!

The Direwires world premiere at MUTEK went extremely well. Overwhelmingly positive feedback has been recieved in high volumes. A few photos from the show have been added to the MULTIMEDIA page.

A collaborative album produced by Direwires and Freder has been released on Robotopera. The album, entitled "Sleeping Near Highways" contains a handful of original music compositions inspired by the experience of sleeping and travelling in a car on highways in Northern Ontario.
